Trustee recruitment
Become a Charity Trustee
Join our Board to strengthen governance, impartiality and strategy for a charity dedicated to rigorous vegan certification — including plant‑only farming. Why this matters.
In brief
- Meetings: four Board meetings per year in London (step‑free access) with occasional short online sessions; remote attendance possible.
- Role type: Volunteer (unpaid). Reasonable travel expenses reimbursed.
- Eligibility: 16+ and not disqualified from charity trusteeship; employees are ineligible.
- Inclusion: We welcome diverse perspectives and provide reasonable adjustments on request.
Why your help matters
Typical vegan product labels audit ingredients and processing aids; they rarely assess how crops are grown. Many farming systems worldwide use animal manures and certain slaughter by‑products (blood, bone, feather, fish meals) as fertilizers. Our charity fills that gap by certifying plant‑only farming and applying independent product‑certification rigour to vegan claims. Read the sources.
